Day 2(28/12): Hanoi city tour – Laocai city

Day 1(27/12): Noibai airport – Hanoi

Morning: Pick up you at Noibai airport, depart to Hanoi hotel, check in and have free time. (Hotel time check in: After 12 o’clock).

 

Day 2(28/12): Hanoi city tour – Laocai ( B/L)

After breakfast, 8.00- 8.30: Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City

08.45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish IsLand in West Lake

It is the oldest pagoda in HaNoi built in the 6th century.

09.30: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of  Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Goddess of Mercy – It is the most unique pagoda in the world

Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…

Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.

Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed for at least 2 months (15thJune -15thAugust) for the annual maintenance but still you can take pictures of the Mausoleum and visit around that area.

11.15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam

Special Note : we will visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays

12.45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine

with 8 delicious dishes.

14:00-14:15 : Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century

15:15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which was originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the "Hanoi Hilton

16:15 -16:30: Tour end, have free time.

Around 20.00, head to train station, take overnight train to Laocai. Overnight on train,

 

 Day 3(29/12): Laocai – Bac Ha - Sapa( B/L/)

Around 06am, arrive at Laocai train station, have breakfast, then head to to Bac Ha Market,

Walk out of the exit gate of Lao Cai Train Station after your overnight train from Hanoi. Our guide will meet you here and introduce themselves over breakfast, along with explaining the itinerary of our day tour to BacHa Market.

We drive to Bac Ha Market after this and soak up the ecstatic energy to be found here. Bac Ha is still a highly local market of huge significance to the ethnic groups who visit it every Sunday, bringing all of their produce and handicrafts to sell to tourists and other locals alike. We stroll leisurely around the market in the morning, admiring the colourful dress of the ethnic groups in attendance and browsing the merchandise that many vendors have trekked, sometimes for multiple days, to sell at Bac Ha.

After a thorough look around each of the sections of the market, and once you are satisfied with your highly unique purchases, we can sit down here for a local lunch. Following this, we make our transfer to the H’mong King’s Palace, the exquisite former resident of King Hoang A Tuong, who lived in this east meets west-style castle. We explore the inside with its many fortifications, along with the Gothic-style outside and the fabulous gardens.

Following this, we make our final stop of the Bac Ha Market 1 Day Group Tour at Ban Pho village, just a short walk away from the palace. Here, we find plenty of smiling residents and many workshops making corn wine, a special export of Ban Pho and a big source of pride for the locals. 

We end the tour in the late afternoon with the transfer to Sapa, check in hotel and free time.

 

Day 4(30/12): Sapa – Fansipan - Moana (B/L/D)

8:00: After breakfast, the car picks you up and departs for FanSipan cable car station, taking the world's longest 3-wire cable car with a length of 6,292.5m. You will see the sea of clouds, Muong Hoa valley and the beautiful Hoang Lien Son range from above. After 15 minutes by cable car, you continue to climb 604 steps to reach the top of Fansipan. You take pictures to save this memorable moment. Have buffet lunch at restaurant.

Afternon, take visit more of Fansipan, Then you return to the cable car station to move down.

Afternoon: Our guide picks you from the hotel and takes you to walk to the Moana. A check-in area with man-made structures but arranged in harmony with nature to create a unique, strange and beautiful landscape. The check-in area is only 500m from the Stone Church, with the view embracing the Hoang Lien Son range and the majestic Fansipan peak. This place consists of seven categories, attracting young people by many unique miniatures. There are Bali heaven gate, Moana girl statue, infinity lake, golden hand, death swing, lonely tree and coffee area.

16h30: You take pictures and visit at Sapa Stone Church, then move to the hotel and rest.

Have dinner at the hotel restaurant. Then you are free to roam, enjoy coffee in the mountain town, go to Sapa food market to enjoy grilled specialties here…

Day 05(01/1): Sapa – Catcat - Hanoi (B/L/)

7:00: Guests have breakfast at a hotel. Then check out.

8:00: After breakfast: The tour guide picks up guests to continue the journey of trekking to explore Cat Cat village and Thuy Dien waterfall, enjoy cultural performances and learn about the culture and customs of the community. ethnic minorities here. Tour guide takes you to visit Cat Cat village where the Black H'mong live, a place of charming scenery in the valley located at the foot of the majestic Fansipan peak. Local tour guide will introduce you to the daily life of ethnic people here, then you continue to walk to Cat Cat waterfall, Cat Cat hydroelectric station built by the French in the early years of the century. XX. Enjoy taking pictures for souvenirs.

11:00: You get on the bus back to town.

Afternoon: Around 14.00, take the bus back to Hanoi,

Evening: Around 19.00 Arrive in Hanoi, check in hotel. Have free time to visit old quarter.

 

Day 06(02/1): Hanoi – Ninhbinh ( B/L )

07:30 – 07:45: Our guide will meet you at your  hotel/stay and start  110km on Bus-journey through verdant landscape of countryside. Short-brake en route.

10:00: Visit Hoa Lu Ancient Citadel with Dinh King Temple and Le King Temple dating back to the 17th Century.

12:00: Enjoy lunch at our restaurant with the great local cuisine.

13:30: Boarding a small sampan to visit Tam Coc which literally means “three caves” (1.5 hour boat trip). With Halong bay type views of majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious caves, as well as countryside landscape like peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields, Tam Coc really has it all. You will feel the fresh air and peaceful moments, a very good opportunity for photo lovers, freezing the special moments and scenery.

15:30: Leisure  cycling on rural roads alongside the extensive canal network and through small villages with backdrop of a maze of limestone mountains.

16:45: Return to our bus and then come back to Ha Noi

18:45: Drop you off at your hotel.

Around 20.00, arrive in Hanoi, stop at Train station, take overnight train to Laocai city.

Day 07(03/1): Hanoi – Halong bay ( B/L/D )

After your breakfast, check out and around 8 a.m, pick up at hotel, depart to Halong bay.

12:00: Meeting at  harbour. Check in Cruise and you are warmly welcomed by a professional and friendly crew.

Day 08(04/1): Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/ L)

05:45: Take photos of sunrise, morning exercise with our Tai Chi master, a perfectly healthy way to start a new day.

06:30 – Enjoy your breakfast, coffee, tea, fruits.

07:15 – Visit Surprising Cave – the most beautiful one in Halong Bay.

09:00 – Back to Cruise for check-out. Keep cruising towards Ha Long Bay, passing by hundreds of islands and islets with different shapes depending on your imagination.

10:00 – Cooking class opened right on the cruise.

10:30 – Farewell lunch served on the cruise before you arrive at harbor.

11:45 – back to harbour, bus pick up back to Hanoi.
