Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City Arrival (/ / D )

Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, our tour guide and driver will welcome you and transfer you to the center of the city for sightseeing tour of Ho Chi Minh City: visit Independence palace, The Hundred Years Red Cathedral (Notre Dame Cathedral), The Old Post Office and The People’s Committee Hall, free time for shopping for suvernir, Check in hotel.

Evening: Have dinner on saigon river cruise, enjoy vietnam food, music show and have sighseeing the city on both side of river.

 

Day 2: Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi Tunnel  – Ho Chi Minh City ( B/ L/ D )

After breakfast, a one and half hour drive takes you to Cu Chi where human knowledge has been enriched by experiencing an web-like tunnels system of more than 200km in length which used to be the shelters of guerrillas during the war against American troops. Have lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon: Back to Hochiminh city, visit old pagoda, shopping for survernir.

Evening: Have dinner at restaurant, have free time.

 

Day 3: Ho Chi Minh City – Cantho city  ( B/ L/ D)

After breakfast at hotel, check out and transfer to  Mytho city. Visit Vinh Trang pagoda

The reststop on the way at the pagoda, the car driver will stop at Vinh Trang pagoda in My Tho which was built in 1849. It is the greatest pagoda of Tien Giang Province and was recognized as a national historical and cultural relic in 1984.

Cruising on the mighty Mekong River

Arrive My Tho boat station (where you meet the tour guide), boarding the motorboat at a pier and cruising on the mighty Mekong River. Here, overlooking floating houses where fishes are farmed beneath the house around 4 islands of the Dragon island, Thoi Son island (Unicorn island), Phoenix island, Turtle islet (viewing from the motorboat).

Continuing the journey on the river until reaching the local hidden Tan Thach village (which is less touristy than Thoi Son island tourism a lot), you will get to know many things about coconut uses (coconut candy, wine, oil, mat, coco shell), the tour guide will explain about coco candy producing process at the local coconut workshop as well – very kid-friendly. Enjoying free samples of local specialties and discovering daily activities of local people.

Horse cart

Take a short walk to explore the village. Enjoy more Mekong countryside with the horse cart as a Landlord in the old days. Arrive another village - a performance site where Vietnamese traditional music (Đàn Ca Tài Tử - A folk art form from Southern Vietnam accredited by UNESCO in 2013 as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity) can be heard and seasonal tropical fruits and honey tea can be tasted (included).

Afterward, being on a hand-rowing sampan (smalboat) in a small canal and slowly cruising through a small creek with beautiful overhanging coconut trees. Lives from both sides of the creek can be observed. Lunch at local restaurant.

Afternoon: Back to habour, take the car to Cantho city – the centre of mekong delta, famous for floating market, fruit gardens also.

Arrival in the city, check in the hotel.

Evening: Have dinner on cruise, vising city by cruising.

Have free time to discover the city, walking street, night market….

 

Day 4: Cantho – Cai rang floating market – Soctrang  - Rachgia City ( B/ L/ D )

After breakfast, leaving for the habour to take the boat to visit the floating market- Rang floating market to see the lively and busy trade of people who live on the rivers, fruit garden -  a special culture of the Southerners who live in the delta.

Depart to Soctrang provine where is famous for some khmer pagoda: Mahatup pagoda, Somrong pagoda. Lunch at restaurant.

Afternoon: Transfer to Kiengiang, check in and relaxing. Have dinner.

 

Day 5: Rachgia city – Phuquoc island ( B/L/D)

After breakfast, take the highspeed boat to Phuquoc island

Arrival in harbour, pick you up, transfer to hotel– check-in – having lunch. Having the rest

Afternoon : Visiting traditional villages in the Island.

 +  Pepper farm: Searching how to plant pepper on the farm. PQ pepper is famous with large , black, tasty pepper, you can buy there as present.

+  Fish sauce : Searching how to brew and process small fish to be fish sause which is famous in domestic and over the world with traditional way of PQ people and it has highly nutritious contents.

+ Sim fruit Wine : made from ripe Sim fruit. Meeting and talking to the fist person who process Sim fruit wine at the company – Bay Gao or Sim Son or Thanh Long.

+ Tranh stream ( Waterflow) : It flows from Han Ninh mountains and only is on May – Oct

+ Ham Ninh fishing village : It is the ancient fish village of PQ people, Where you can buy dry seafood or fresh, or souvenir gift very cheap.

+ Su Mon Pagoda : The ancient beautiful pagoda is fresh, peace

+ Relaxing at hotel/ resort/ beach.

Evening : Having dinner . Freedom to have break or (on the evening Sightseeing Dinh Cau market ( my transportation is only up to 8 pm. After 8 pm, please go to your hotel by your selves)

 

Day 6: Discovering South-West beach: ( B/L/D )

According to scientists , Phu Quoc ocean maintain still comparatively the primitive ecosystem , with so nice corals, can be sanctuaries or attractively snorkeling tourism. Corals are in the majority for 41% whole area. It has statistically 89 kinds of hard coral, 19 kinds of soft corals, 125 kinds of fish under coral, 132 kinds of invertebrate fish, 32 kinds of echinoderms, and 62 kinds of seaweed, in which there are important as the clams, ….

Morning : After having breakfast, going to  the South, visiting:

+PQ highly pearl: you see immediately cultured pearl processes professionally at PQ.

Option 1:– you enjoy at Thom island to exploring Pearl Islands from above via the world's longest cable (self-sufficiency)

• Phu Quoc cable car crossing the sea over the cable car, to be seized the world record with a length of nearly 8 kilometers over the sea. The cable car connecting between Hon Thom island and  Phuquoc island , relaxing at beach or take part in games of water park.

+ Sao beach: of  most beautiful PQ beaches with white, fluffy sand and straightly long. Freely taking photo.

+ Back to hotel. Having bath in Resort beach and having a break.

Evening: Having dinner, have free time, relaxing.

 

Day 7 : Goodbye Phuquoc island ( B )

Having breakfast . Having freely bath on the beach . Having lunch your selves ( if you fly after 12h ). Check-out and depart to airport. Tour ends.
