What To Expect

1

Day 1: Airport – Hochiminh city ( )

Arriving at Tan Son Nhat airport, our driver pick up the group to the hotel, check in hotel, have free time.

Day 2: Hochiminh city tour – Cuchi tunnel ( B/L/ )

07.00: At departure time, we will pick up you right at your hotel.

Firstly, excursion Cu Chi Tunnels; an underground tunnels network constructed by Vietnamese fighters during the struggle for independence. It took about 25 years to build this underground city, which has living rooms, kitchens, hospitals, weapon factories, storage facilities and command centre. The tunnel system was an excellent way for the Vietcong to move around the countryside undetected by the Americans and home to around 10,000 people who lived underground for several years.

Before we go underground, we watch a short introductory video showing how the tunnels were constructed. We then spend the next hour exploring the maze of tunnels. Also on display are various mantraps and the remains of an American tank as well as numerous bomb craters made by 500 pound bombs dropped by B52 bombers.

Have lunch at the restaurant, then we drive back to Saigon arriving at approximately 14.00pm. Secondly, Notre Dame Cathedral: Located in the heart of the city and it was built by the French in the late 1877s. Notre Dame is not just a the oldest Christian church of Vietnam but also a unique and excellent architecture of Saigon.

Thirdly, General Post Office (Designed by Gustav Eiffel, the Post Office is a testament to the French presence in the late 1800s. The look and feel of this grand building is like an elegant railway station. Fourthly, you’ll then be driven to visit the Jade Emperor Temple. It’s one of the best Taoist temples in Vietnam, with superb effigies, remarkable carved panels of the descent to Hell and some what incongruous terrapin and tortoise sanctuaries. You can choose to visit Jade Emperor Temple or War Museum or Reunification Palace.

Fifthly, then you’ll have approximately two hour to visit Ben Thanh market, one of the liveliest areas of Saigon, is packed with every conceivable commodity and a visit to lacquer workshop to see the complex processes and meticulous workmanship involved in this traditional Vietnamese craft product.

Finish the Cu Chi Tunnels & Saigon City Tour full day with us, back to hotel, have free time.

Day 3: Hochiminh city – Mekong ( B/L/ )

After your breakfast, check out and 08.00-0.8.30,

After around 2-hour driving from Saigon, we will reach the port to take leisurely cruise on the Tien River to see 4 islets which are represented as four mythical animals in Southeast Asia: Dragon, Kirin, Tortoise, and Phoenix.

Then we will visit honey bee farm and taste delicious honey tea with lemon that is really good for health. Moreover is to enjoy a lot of tropical fruits featuring the typical characteristic of Mekong Delta. Local people also have a python farm for those who are looking for adventure can touch pythons and take photos with them.

Visit coconut candy workshop to know how to make delicious candies by hand.

On Classic Mekong Delta Tour, you can enjoy the melody of “Don Ca Tai Tu”, a genre of traditional folk music which is an indispensable spiritual cultural activity in Mekong Delta people’s lives and officially recognized by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Furthermore, we can relax on the rowing boat going through a mangrove palm canal, and continue to ride by horse-drawn carriage through the village as the way locals did in the 19th century.

You cannot leave Mekong Delta without visiting Vinh Trang pagoda, considered as the biggest and oldest ancient pagoda in Southern of Vietnam influenced by Asian and Western architecture and culture, which is located in My Tho Town.

Back to city, free time and relax.

Day 4: Hochiminh city – Hanoi (B//)

After breakfast, free time to relax and take flight to Hanoi city.

Arrive in Hanoi, check in hotel, free time to relax/ visit Hanoi old quarter, Hoankiem Lake…

Day 5: Hanoi city tour ( B/L/)

After breakfast, 8.00- 8.30: Get picked up by our friendly guide and start to explore Hanoi City

08.45: Arrive at Tran Quoc Pagoda located on Golden Fish IsLand in West Lake

It is the oldest pagoda in HaNoi built in the 6th century.

09.30: Visit Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of  Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969. Then visit One Pillar Pagoda where worships the Goddess of Mercy – It is the most unique pagoda in the world

Should dress modestly by covering from shoulders to knees when visiting Ho Chi Minh mausoleum, temples, pagodas…

Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays.

Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum is closed for at least 2 months (15thJune -15thAugust) for the annual maintenance but still you can take pictures of the Mausoleum and visit around that area.

11.15: Visit Vietnam Ethnology Museum to learn about the culture of 54 ethnic groups living in the whole country of Vietnam

Special Note : we will visit Women Museum instead of Ethnology Museum closed on Mondays

12.45: Have lunch at our restaurant. You have an opportunity to enjoy Vietnamese cuisine

with 8 delicious dishes.

14.00-14.15 : Continue to visit Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century

15.15: Leave for Hoa Lo Prison Museum which was originally used by the French colonists in Indochina for political prisoners, and later by North Vietnam for U.S. prisoners of war during the Vietnam War. During this later period, it was known to American POWs as the “Hanoi Hilton

16.15 -16.30: Tour finishes, free time to relax.

Day 6: Hanoi - Halong Bay ( B/ L / D)

07h30-08h00: After breakfast, check out,  Car and guide pick you up at hotels in the center of the Old Quarter and the Opera House to depart for the trip to visit HaLong Bay.

11:30-12:00:

Arriving at Ha Long port, the delegation gathers at home and waits under the guidance of the tour guide, waiting to buy tickets and issue tickets for you to board the ship to start the journey to explore the Bay. The ship will pass through many large and small islands with many different shapes with special names such as: Ga Choi Islet , Dog Stone Island , etc. Enjoy lunch on board.

14h00:

Go to Bo Hon island. You visit Sung Sot Cave – One of the most beautiful caves in HaLong Bay. Next, you will kayak or take a bamboo boat to visit Luon Cave . After 30 minutes of kayaking, you board the boat to come to Titop island . You can swim at Titop beach with white sand, or try trekking to the top of Titop mountain to see the panoramic view of HaLong Bay.

16h30:

You return to the ship. The ship will move to bring you back to the port. You can sunbathe on the deck, listen to music and relax, immersing yourself in the nature of Ha Long Bay.

17h30:

Ship docked. The car picks you up and takes you to the hotel to check in and rest

19h00:

Have dinner. Evening free to explore Night Market, Food Street… Overnight in Ha Long.

Day 7: Ha Long - Freedom To Discover - Hanoi (B/ L / - )

After breakfast at the hotel, you are free to explore as follows:

  • The Queen Cable Car and the giant Sunwheel on the mysterious hill

  2. You can rent a car by yourself to visit the Quang Ninh Museum . Quang Ninh Museum is inspired by the image of coal – a typical mineral of Quang Ninh and designed by Spanish architect Salvador Perez Arroyo. Quang Ninh Museum – Library is considered a perfect cultural work and a sustainable highlight of a famous scenic area: Ha Long Bay. This is also a massive architectural cluster with the largest investment value (over 900 billion VND) and the first official museum built in Quang Ninh province.

Day 8: Hanoi – Sapa – Cat Cat Village (B / L / D)

06:30, can pack the beakfast, then gather at the meeting point to depart for Sapa on the Noi Bai – Lao Cai highway.

Arriving in Sapa town, tour guide in Sapa welcomes you and takes you to the central hotel for lunch then check in.

14:00

The group started walking to visit Cat Cat Village , about a 20 minutes walk from Sapa. This is the village of the “Black H’Mong” people. They know how to grow crops, raise animals and preserve many traditional handicrafts such as: colorful brocade weaving, cotton and linen growing and weaving, indigo dyeing techniques reaching a skillful level, silver and copper jewelry making.

At the same time, you have the opportunity to visit: Old hydroelectric plant, Ethnic performance show, Giant water wheel, Love Waterfall, Love Bridge…

This place still preserves the original values such as the custom of pulling wives and bears, along with many rich and unique dishes such as: horse meat, chicken blood pudding, local pigs, etc. The architecture of the H’mong houses in Cat Cat village is a three-room house with a roof made of po mu wood. Besides terraced fields and majestic mountains, Cat Cat village also has waterfalls and winding streams. The most famous are Tien Sa waterfall, Muong Hoa stream and the ancient hydroelectric plant built by the French in the 1920s.

After dinner, you are free to walk around town or attend the Sapa Love Market every Saturday night – a traditional cultural feature of the Mong and Dao ethnic groups in the Northwest highlands. Overnight at the hotel

Day 9: Sapa – Lao Chai – Ta Van (B / L / D)

After breakfast, you will start your walking tour to visit Lao Chai – Ta Van, home to ethnic minorities such as Hmong, ZDao, Day, Tay… This place attracts many domestic and foreign visitors. You will be amazed by the simple beauty mixed with the spacious and polite appearance of the villages in the village.

7km from Sapa town, is a winding road winding through the immense terraced fields leaning against the mountainsides. The group will have the opportunity to admire the majestic beauty of the Northwest mountains and forests. Visitors will enjoy the quiet and peaceful atmosphere and feel the intact traditional culture of this village. If you go during the rice season from April to September, the group will see the golden ripe rice fields like a beautiful picture, this is also the happiest season of the village. Visitors also feel the friendliness and hospitality of the local people.

You can also enjoy the cuisine of the local people such as: home-grown vegetables, local chickens, home-raised pigs with cups of corn wine, rustic dishes and watching the scenery of Lao Chai – Ta Van floating in the clouds, there is nothing better. After finishing the journey to visit Lao Chai – Ta Van , the group will have lunch at the restaurant in the village, then the car will take the group back to Sapa.

Afternoon

In the afternoon, you are free to shop and visit the town, new market, stone church (1926), Sapa square.

After dinner, you are free to walk around and visit the town. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10: Sapa – Fansipan – Shopping – Hanoi (B / L/ – )

After breakfast, The car and guide will take you to Fansipan Cable Car Station to begin your journey to conquer Fansipan by the most modern 3-wire cable car system in the world with a cabin that can accommodate up to 30 visitors. (Cable car fee not included)

Then continue to conquer 600 stone steps to the top of Fansipan at an altitude of 3,143m – the roof of Indochina.

16h00: Visit Marble Mountain, discover the stunning natural caves, the mysterious pagodas and the Stone Carving Village.

 

18h00: Enjoy dinner at the local restaurant.

 

19h00: Walk around for shopping & enjoy the beautiful light of thousands of lanterns. Head to Hoian & visit the Fukian Assembly Hall to encounter ancient architecture, and see the Japanese Covered Bridge….

20h30: Return to Danang, relax and overnight.

Day 12: Danang – Bana Hills ( B/L/ )

After breakfast, check out, 8h00: Pick you up from your hotel for the journey to Ba Na Hills after breakfast.

9h00: Check in at the Suoi Mo Cable car Station. You will admire the heights from the most modern cable car system in Southeast Asia.

10h00: Enjoy the funicular railway, visit Linh Ung pagoda, France wine cellar, D’amour flower garden , Golden Bridge….

12h00: Explore King Peak at an altitude 1.487m, and admire the stunning panoramic views of Bana Hills and Quang Nam – Da Nang.

13h00 :Enjoy buffet lunch

Morning: After breakfast, start the trip to explore the south island.
