-PREPARATION OF THE CUSTOMER
+Seasonal preparation: The best time to travel is from November to April. There are also photo opportunities and sightseeing during the rice cultivation period from March to April and September to October so take your camera with a zoom lens if possible. Heat and humidity in rainy season (Summer months) can make this tour very difficult. Please check with our travel consultant for more details before booking.
+What to bring: Passport, change of clothes, sun-glasses & hat, toiletries, sun-block, insect repellent, flashlights, proper hiking boots /trekking shoes, personal first aid kit & medicines, small VND notes for buying drinks. If you feel the need then sleeping bags, cable lock for your bags is recommended.

-TREKKING INFORMATION
+Age: The minimum age we accept for this tour is 10 years with no exception. The program is not recommended for seniors (above 65 years) who do not have a good physical fitness.
+Experience: The trek demands some experience in co-ordination, fitness and stamina. The great effort will be rewarded with fantastic views. Clients should have previous trekking experience. Nevertheless, our guide will be flexible to suggest you the most proper trekking route adapted to your physical fitness.
+Route: The trekking route can be changed due to external circumstances such as weather (the rain season between June and October can cause muddy paths which can become dangerous). Your Footprint travel consultant will assist you with any changes.
+Trekking time: The trekking time is approximate and depends on the weather and the walking speed.

05.30am: Start at Hanoi Opera House, get into our car, off to Hà Giang! Breakfast will take place off when you get into the expressway ( by your own )
11.00am: You will stop by and have lunch at Tan YenTown (Ham Yen, Tuyen Quang Province). After having lunch, you continue your trip beside Lo River.
03.00pm: At that time, you will reach the downtown of Ha Giang, and it is the time for you to take some pictures at “0th km” of Ha Giang.
04.30pm: Next step is Quan Ba Sky Gate. Enjoy your time here seeing the beauty of Co Tiên Mountain and all Tam Sơn Town from the higher place. Don’t forget to take pictures when you are at such a wonderful place like that. On the way to Yen Minh, you will have the chance to get a good look at the must-see Bucket Flower Fields and photograph them (the best time to see those Fields is between September and December).
06.30pm: Reach Yen Minh, check in to the hotel and have dinner there. You are going to spend your night at Yen Minh.
06.30am: Check out from the hotel, have breakfast and go sightseeing in Đong Van Karst Plateau Geopark. During the visit, you will stop at:
✓ Pho Cao (Fox street) for watching the unique house of H’Mông people, with the rock fence bounding it (you can also take pictures with Peach Blossoms and Plum Blossoms at Tết, and visit Phố Cáo Market on Day of the Dog and Day of the Dragon).
✓ Sung La village, visit H’Mong’s Ancient house – the place where the film “Story of Pao” is produced at 2006. This is a film of director Ngo Quang Hai, which is transferred from the short story “Tiếng đàn môi sau bờ rào đá” of the writer Do Bich Thuy which received 4 Golden Kite Prizes. After this experience, you will have some time to relax at Buckwheat Flower Fields near “Dốc chín khoanh”.
✓ Visit to the Vuong family mansion lying inside a valley of Sa Phin. This is the wealthiest and most powerful family of Đong Van in the early of 20th century.
✓ Travel through Ma Pi Leng Pass on the way to Meo Vac. This is the most beautiful path of the “Happy Way”. Come to Ma Pi Leng Canyon (800m depth) – the deepest canyon in Vietnam and indulge in the terrific view there. Then you come back to Yen Minh. During coming back time, you can again visit and photograph with Buckwheat Flower under Ma Pi Leng Pass.
12.00pm: Lunch will take place at Đong Van town. Check in hotel and rest.
14.00pm: Get on car and go to visit Lung Cu Flag Pole – the northernmost place of Vietnam.
17.00pm: Arrival in Dong Van town. Have dinner and free at night. You can take your time at Dong Van Ancient Town, a place that lives with time nearly one century. And you can enjoy a coffee break at “Café phố Cổ” shop – a very famous coffee shop there (self payment). Overnight in Dong Van town.
06h00am: Check out from the hotel, have breakfast and visit Đong Van weekly market – only opened on Sunday morning.
07.00am: Get on car and goback to Hà Nội.
12.00pm: Lunch time at Ha Giang.
08.00pm: Arrival in Hà Nội. End of tour. See you again!
